You will be taken back in time upon your arrival at the French Gulch Hotel, located in a tranquil mountain gulch among pine and fir trees, just 18 miles west of Redding, California, off of HWY 299 west. You will be eager to explore the area around French Gulch from beautiful Whiskeytown Lake to nearby Lassen National Park and majestic Mt. Shasta.

Few places in California can boast of the exciting history that is part of this historic hotel on the National Registar of Historic Places.

Come visit the hotel and dine in the dining room or stay as a guest in one of eight rooms and be treated to a full breakfast the next morning.

DINNER
Thursday - Saturday 5 to 9

Order the Gold Rush Dinners which include a variety of choices including New York Steak, Halibut, Chicken Marsala and Fried Chicken.

SUNDAY BRUNCH
Sundays 9 to 1

Includes such items as eggs benedict, belgian waffles, and fresh omlets.

BED and BREAKFAST
Is open 7 days a week from March thru December. The hotel offers eight rooms with queen beds, comforters with ruffled coordinates and other romantic touches to capture the nostaligic mood of yesterday.The price range is $40.00 to $80.00, double occupancy, and includes a full breakfast the next morning. Reservations can be made in advance. A discount of 10% is applied when you rent the entire hotel. Small children and pets are not allowed. Smoking inside is prohibited.
